Interior and Exterior Lake House Renovations

This early 1970’s lake house fronting Lake Rome Rock in Ashtabula County needed TLC on both the inside and the outside. The inside needed a complete update. The existing living room sported classic 1970’s paneling and the ceiling was sagging from water damage. First, The Ohio Valley Group installed new drainage around the entire perimeter of the home to control the existing water problems. They also removed approximately fifty trees on the over-crowded site allowing the beautiful lake views to be enjoyed from every angle as well as providing light and air to the home. The interior was next: The Ohio Valley Group vaulted the main living room and created a great room that overlooked the completely renovated kitchen. An old wood burner was removed and a custom bar [complete with hidden drink refrigerator] and wine rack was built. The old dining room was renovated into a family room. The exterior of the home was completely re-stained to give it a fresh look, a new chandelier was installed on the porch and a large stone patio and fire pit completed the outdoors.
