This project in Shaker Heights featured the addition of two water features, flanking both ends of the existing patio. The homeowners consisted of a young family, as well as in-laws. Each wanted to create their own water structure, so the challenge existed in designing complementary features that did not compete with one another. The waterfall, complete with fish, was built for the children, while the bubbler was the choice of the in-laws. The structures are tucked below the respective party’s bedroom, allowing for the enjoyment of calming background noise.
